The team at SAB Heli Division continue development of their large scale Cobra AH-1G RC helicopter. They released another video of the heli this week calling it a 1/7 scale model with a main rotor diameter of 1.96 meters.

The concept warbird helicopter is powered by two brushless motors, the first of which is a Scorpion HKIII 4035-330 driven by a Kontronic 80HV ESC and powered by a 12S 5000 LiPo. The tail motor is not specified in the video.

The clip shows some of the clearest shots of the AH-1G to date during take off and landing. The heli starts of flying some pretty basic scale maneuvers and then goes into a series of high banked turns. The most impressive flight capabilities depicted in the video are a couple of high loops and some backward flight.
