Blade mSR: Common Replacement Parts

Blade mSR Spares to Have on Hand
Overall the E-flite Blade mSR is a remarkably resilient little remote control helicopter. Given that the vast majority of helis, particularly the larger ones, virtually crumble in a crash; the mSR can be quite a blast to fly since you don't have to worry about the expense of too many repairs. It is on par with it's coaxial siblings, the mCX line of RC helis, with respect to durability.
Still, because of its speed and agility it's going to take some abuse. That being the case, a few parts are best kept on hand if you don't want to spend anytime grounded until parts can be acquired.
The main wear item on the mSR - if you don't spend most of your time crashing - is the tail motor. In normal flight it gets quite a workout and you can tell this as you listen to the heli move through the air. Replacements should be around $15 including the carbon fiber tail boom and repar is a matter of unplugging the old one, pulling the tail off, installing the new one, and plugging it back in.
The only other main wear item on the heli is the the flybar. It is a very good, inexpensive single-piece design but can tend to wear in the center where the main shaft goes through it. The flybar is also a victim of crashes in that it tends to weaken right at the root near where the link attachment points are located.
Other common crash casualties are the landing gear (obviously), the blade grips, and the anti-rotation collar. Keeping these items on hand will keep your heli in the air with very little downtime.
