Goblin 630

Brand: SAB Heli Division
Manufacturer: SAB Company

Description

The Goblin 630 (Goblin 600) is a remote control helicopter product announced in 2011 by SAB company of Italy under the brand of SAB Heli Division. Helicopters are new to the SAB company (as of 2011), however, they have been developing and supplying high-end carbon fiber blades to the RC heli market for years. The Goblin 630 is named as such because it is a 600-class electric heli that is designed to use 600mm main blades.

No information about the Goblin 630 is currently available for viewing on the brand's website; however, based on product pre-release flight videos it appears to come to market with the same innovative designs that its bigger brother, the Goblin 700, features. Presumed features include a low-profile flybarless aluminum head design, a single piece aluminum main frame plate that attaches all major drive train and control components, and a unique square cross section, tapered, carbon fiber tail boom.

Goblin 630 Update

In early 2012, after the start of first shipments of their Goblin 700 kits, SAB Heli Division released one of the first Goblin 630-specific photos -- a shot of the helicopter's head. It will consist of smaller components than the larger 700 and can be found in the gallery on this page.
