New Blade UH-1 Huey Scale Helicopter

Good news for fans of Blade's SR line of 300-sized electric helicopters. The platform, today, got a new design variation: the Blade SR UH-1 Huey Gunship. The new SR Huey is a scale model of the classic design from the US military of the 1960's.

The Blade team at Horizon Hobby have some good news today for fans of their venerable 300-sized heli platform which began its life as the CP series Blade/E-flite helicopters and then transformed into the Blade SR product. The company announced today a new variant of the Blade SR called the Blade SR UH-1 Huey Gunship.

The new Scale helicopter design is a nicely done model of the classic Vietnam War-era Huey helicopter which was the first turbin helicopter to enter service for the US military.

The new model by Blade comes with everything necessary to fly right out of the box including a lipo battery, charger, helicopter, transmitter (with batteries), and receiver.

The RTF kit is due into warehouses late October, 2011.
