Odin 90

Description

The Compass Model Oden 90 by Compass Model Ltd is a 90-size nitro helicopter fitted with 690mm main blades, a pod-and-boom airframe configuration, a belt-driven tail, and a 120-degree CCPM swash set-up.

The helicopter uses a unique cooling system consisting of an electrically powered modular cooling fan that is both operated and powered by the ship's radio circuit.  The fan has a servo-style plug that feeds power to a brushless motor/fan combo which in-turn leaves the engine without the burden of having to turn the main blades AND it's own cooling fan.

The heli comes in two kit versions: the Odin 90 and the Odin 90 CF.  The 90 is equipped with a full complement of G10 glass fiber in the frame, while the 90 CF replaces the glass fiber with carbon.  Most of the main components are preassembled including: the carbon or G10 frame set, the main gear assembly, the main rotor head, and the tail assembly.
