Description
Protos 700 is a 700-sized electric (comparable to a 90-sized gas) RC helicopter that is designed and manufactured by MS Heli of Italy. With it's initial public reveal at the Nuremberg Toy Fair 2012, the 700 sized heli will begin shipping to customers in the same year.
Protos 700 is the third product offering in the Protos brand. Following the classic and very popular design features of the Protos 500 and the later released Protos 450 (Mini-Protos), the new 700 is essentially a scaled-up version of the smaller variants (with some exceptions in the airframe component layout).
The 700's possible design features:
- Plastic blade grips
- Classic Protos single belt, no gear-mesh design
- Aluminum tail gear box
- Aluminum main gear
- Mini-protos style gorilla gear single-piece landing skids
- Classic protos canopy with what looks to be blue accent color (black, white, and blue trio)
- Bottom-mount battery tray to accommodate 12s Lipo packs
