SAB Goblin Gets Price and Delivery Dates
Published: October 25, 2011Article
This past month has been a fun one if you're a SAB Goblin fan. In a release of the most awaited news, SAB heli division announced that they are ready to start delivering the Goblin 700 helicopter kits along with a list of some of the suppliers who will be carrying them. Helidirect.com was announced as a US source for kits and parts and SAB is actively seeking to expand their world-wide distribution channel network with a published advertisement on their under construction website that alerts potential retail sources to contact the SAB for details.
Pricing was also announced for the 700-sized kit which is going to sell for $999 US. All kits will be flybarless variations and distributors are beginning to take pre-order deposits.
SAB Heli Division showcased the Goblin at the Alpine Heli smackdown 2011 in the beginning of October and subsequently published some enticing video from the event of Bert Kammerer and Tareq Alsaadi squeezing every last ounce of performance out of the new machine. In a funny, informal video, Kammerrer first pretends that he doesn't know how to fly RC helicopters and then proceeds to push the Goblin through a demo which puffed the 12S LiPo packs.
Finally, SAB Heli Division have posted an excellent group of new pictures of the 700-sized work of art for fans to ogle over. Most are detailed static pictures of the Goblin 700 in green color scheme; however, a few Goblin 600 (Goblin 630) pics along with a new blue color scheme are in the mix. We've put some of them here in the gallery on this page, but the rest can be found on SAB's Facebook page.
