Traxxas XO-1
Overview
Released in December of 2011, the Traxxas XO-1 is the fist production 100mph RC supercar (to our knowledge).
The XO-1 is a 4WD electric car that is powered by two Traxxas Power Cell LiPo batteries (LiPo, 3-Cell 5,000 mAh) that provide juice to a Castle Mamba Monster Extreme controlled Traxxas Big Block Brushless (1650 Kv). From there power flows throw a beefy, shaft-driven, single-speed transmission and on to the pavement through for belted slicks.
Overall the car is classified as 1/7 scale vehicle so it has some size to it. It has an overall length of 686mm (27"), an overall width of 295mm (11.5"), a height of 127.5mm (5"), and a weight of 4.67 kg (just over 10 lbs) with batteries onboard.

Topping off this excellent display of Traxxas innovation, the team also debuted a new 2.4GHz radio with this model that is programmable ... through an iPhone/iPod app! The radio, which will eventually be sold with additional models, has an iPhone dock that allows for a simpler, more refined user experience than traditional programmable radios.
