Description
In September 2009 the Trex 250 SE was released replacing it's predecessor, the Trex 250. It had a new and improved look compared to its predecessor (canopy), some design improvements, and some mechanical improvements that included:
- better servo mounts (cyclic)
- chinese weights cast into the tail blade holders
- cheeks formed into the canopy
- stronger landing struts
- metal tail drive gear
- improved main gear and one-way bearing hub
These changes made the Trex 250 easier to work on, gave it better crash resilience, and slightly better flight characteristics (particularly with regard to tail control). Though tail control continues to be the largest gripe from owners, most forum discussions indicate that its fan base continues to consist of happy clientele.
